Glebe Merchants Holding a Black Friday Sale

Several Glebe merchants are holding Black Friday sales on the weekend of November 25-27, so make sure you get your shopping on. You’ll get a good deal on everything from clothing to cookware and accessories.

The Glebe Emporium, a Bank Street kitchen shop, has an 11-piece cookware set on sale for half price, along with a few other kitchen gadgets. The most expensive item on sale is a high-end stainless steel chef’s knife. The cheapest item on sale is a gleaming glass bowl.

There are other more tame sales to be had, like the audio shop’s big discount on turntables and televisions. The best deal on a top-of-the-line television is a whopping 25% off, but you’ll have to wait until the weekend to take advantage of it.

The Glebe Emporium also has a couple of other cool tricks up its sleeve, including a pair of colanders for the discerning diner, a smattering of bakeware, and some nice knives. The company also has an interesting new fangled line of kitchen gadgets called The X-Ox and the X-Ox One.

There are plenty of other stores in the Glebe to choose from, so make sure you browse the map for the best deals. In addition to the big three mentioned above, check out Mrs Tiggy Winkle’s for some great deals on toys and games. The Glebe is also home to the aforementioned X-Ox and X-Ox One, and Davidson’s Jewellers. The latter is hosting a Purple & Black Friday Sale, as well as a weeklong Black Friday sale, so make sure to take advantage of the two-day special.
